The families of disabled children have the same hopes and dreams as other families. But they are met with practical, physical, financial and emotional barriers.

Contact a Family is a UK charity that exists to support the families of disabled children whatever their condition or disability. With over 30 years of experience, our vision is that families with disabled children are empowered to live the lives they want and achieve their full potential, for themselves, for the communities they live in, and for society. It's why we offer support, information and advice to hundreds of thousands of families every year and campaign for families to receive a better deal.

Parents with disabled children do such an amazing job and we are incredibly proud to help them overcome these challenges. We are continually inspired by the families with disabled children we support and the impact we make on their lives across all nations of the UK. With them, we transform their lives, break down barriers and tackle disadvantage through ambitious, collaborative and innovative work. We make a real and lasting impact and are a force for positive change.
Our Family, Our Future
Contact a Family gives families with disabled children a voice to talk about their achievements, acknowlege the challenges, reflect on their aspirations and fears for the future - but above all to celebrate family life.
