Ladybeard Magazine

is a new,聽print-only quarterly feminist magazine, which aims to聽provide a radical alternative to glossy magazines.聽The first issue takes the body as its theme.聽It is created by university students聽Sadhbh O鈥橲ullivan and Kitty Drake who join Jane in the studio to discuss why they felt there was a gap in the market for a new take on the glossy.

Malala Yousafzai聽 is the 16 year old Pakistani schoolgirl who was shot her almost exactly a year ago by the Taliban because she had campaigned for聽girls' right to an education.聽She was the subject of聽 a very moving edition of Panorama last night, she鈥檚聽 written a book, with Christina Lamb, 鈥淚 am Malala鈥,聽 and on Friday, she鈥檒l find out if she鈥檚 won the Nobel Peace Prize.
