Dale Murray CBE is a technology entrepreneur turned angel investor.

New Zealand-born Dale was part of the founding team that launched Vodafone NZ in 1992. She then relocated to the UK and co-founded Omega Logic, launching prepay top-ups and building gross turnover to 拢450m within five years.

After exiting, Dale turned to investing in start-ups and after early success, was awarded British Angel Investor of the Year in 2011. Dale advises many growing businesses and currently serves on a business taskforce for the government.

She is a Non-Executive Director at the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and Sussex Place Ventures.

Dale has three young sons and lives in London.

Edward Wray is co-founder of Betfair and Director of Funding Circle.

Edward co-founded Betfair in 1999 with Andrew Black. He was Chief Executive until 2003, when he moved to Australia to set up the company's joint venture and became Chairman in 2006.

Today Betfair is one of the world's largest online sports betting operators, processing more than 5 million transactions a day.

Prior to setting up Betfair, Edward spent 8 years at J.P. Morgan.

Edward is now an angel investor and Director of Funding Circle, a peer-to-peer lending platform for business loans.

Lucy Armstrong, Chief Executive of The Alchemists

Lucy Armstrong, Chief Executive of The Alchemists

Lucy Armstrong is Chief Executive of The Alchemists. Her work involves matching up experienced and successful entrepreneurs with high-growth businesses to accelerate their growth and success.

She was also chair of the CBI's national Small Business Forum from 2010 to 2013. Lucy's other positions include being a member of the Council of Liberty and Acting Chair of Northumbria University.

Lucy spends her spare time working with a trans-Atlantic think-tank, running a film festival and walking along Northumberland's deserted beaches. She has recently learned to dive and is seeking ways to combine this with her other hobbies, chainsawing and church bell-ringing.
