We often associate opera, big musicals and ballet productions with London's West End but what about your local cinema? Live Broadcasting across the country is a growing trend. Guardian Theatre Critic Mark Fisher and the Royal Ballet's Laura McCulloch (who herself has featured in live broadcasts) share their experiences of the concept.

Writer Katharine Grant will be talking to Janice about her new novel 'Sedition', and how her family's own murky past was her inspiration for the story. She'll be telling us about her five times great uncle, Francis Towneley who, in 1746, was the last person in the UK to be hung drawn and quartered for sedition (and what the family did with his head afterwards!)

Sarah McCrory is the new director of Glasgow International, the biannual visual arts festival which kicks off on 4th April - so with only a few months to go, how is the 18-day festival shaping up? Sarah will also be telling us what it takes to make it as an art curator.

He'll also be telling us about his grandfather, snooker player Bert Demarco and his father Ramon Demarco who owned several prestigious venues including the Corn Exchange. Dmarco's step-father was Jo Callis, the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from super group 'The Human League' - he'll be telling Janice about how his rich musical heritage has influenced his work.
