It's estimated that there are a million people in Scotland who could vote but who regularly don't and a new poll suggests almost 1 in 4 people aged 18-21 have never registered to vote. With a general election and the referendum on the horizon this issue has been brought into focus as today (Wednesday) is National Voter Registration Day - a nationwide campaign by pressure group 'Bite the Ballot' that aims to get as many people as possible on the electoral register.
