Paul O'Grady says he has spent 8000 pounds on cancer treatment for his dog. Louise White asks how much you would spend on a sick pet.

According to a poll for the Herald, the independence debate is passing young people by. In spite of the franchise being extended to 16 year-olds, young voters are increasingly disengaged. One in five 16-34 year-olds say they have not been following the debate at all which is more than twice the level in older age groups.

The TV chat show host Paul O'Grady says he's spent 8 thousand pounds and he'll sell his house if he has to, to pay for cancer treatment for his dog, Olga. The vet's initial advice was that the cairn terrier should be put down.
