TOPIC 1: ATOS ASSESSMENT
The Mental Welfare Commission has strongly criticised the way a woman was assessed for benefits which led to her suicide less than a month later. The woman had a 20 year history of depression and was on significant medication, but scored zero points in a Work Capability Assessment, carried out by ATOS on behalf of the UK Government meaning she didn't qualify for Employment and Support Allowance.

TOPIC 2: CAR FREE EVENTS
This years Ryder cup has been designated as a car-free zone for ticket-paying customers. Spectators will arrive at Gleneagles either by bus or train in the transport plan for the event. There is NO public parking facility or drop off points at or near The Gleneagles Hotel other than for essential event personnel.

Louise asks: should more major events follow the Ryder Cup's example and be car free zones?
