Martin Shuker hails from Scotland but lives in Windsor. He's just celebrated 10 years as UK Managing Director of KFC, having joined the company in 1995. Martin takes a hands-on appoach to quality control, often turning up at KFC shops unannounced to sample the wares.

When Martin's not overseeing operations at KFC he's a keen golfer with a handicap fluctuating between four and seven. He's also a keen runner, cyclist and walker, and enjoys watching all sports. His favourite film is 'Where Eagles Dare', and he's a fan of Andrew Marr's 'History of Modern Britain'.

Stan Laurent was born in Paris and his first job after leaving school was 16 months' military service as 2nd Lieutenant in the French Navy, including three months aboard a nuclear submarine. Back on dry land, Stan started his career in Berlin, assessing and privatising state assets at the German Privatisation Agency.

After a stint at AOL, Stan moved to Photobox in 2006. He now lives in London with his wife and children and in his spare time, Stan can be found scaling snow-capped mountains in the Southern Alps.

Heather McGregor is the managing director of Taylor Bennett, executive headhunters, helping other companies find their senior staff.

For over 14 years Heather has written a column for the FT as her alter ego; Mrs Moneypenny. She also presented the Channel 4 series Superscrimpers and the Mrs Moneypenny show has run at the Edinburgh Fringe, off Broadway and the Hay Festival. She is also a best-selling author.

In her early career, she worked in financial PR before doing an MBA at the London Business School and joining ABN Amro. She spent eight years with the bank, working in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, before joining Taylor Bennett in 2000.

Heather has a PhD from the University of Hong Kong, and is a visiting professor at City University's Cass Business School.

听

She is the current chair of the charity Careers Academies UK, working with 16-19 year olds to raise their aspirations through paid internships, and was a founding member of the steering committee of the '30 Per Cent Club', which is working to raise the representation of women at senior levels.
