Amnesty International says the Nigerian military failed to act on warnings about the raid in which more than two hundred schoolgirls were kidnapped. A spokesman for the Nigerian government tells us the Amnesty claim is baseless. Despite President Putin asking separatists in eastern Ukraine not to hold votes on whether to split from the country, they are still going ahead.
