Janice Forsyth is joined by Scottish actor Billy Boyd, best known for The Hobbit, and award winning author Denise Mina, to hear about the goNorth festival, where Billy is performing with his band Beecake, and Denise is premiering her documentary film. We hear about an exhibition detailing the history of portrait photography; The grandson of the Scottish colourist SJ Peploe, managing director of The Scottish Gallery Guy Peploe, talks about holding an exhibition of his father Denis Peploe's work to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth.
