Janice Forsyth speaks to theatre directors Cora Bissett and David Leddy, plus live music from songwriter Luke Jackson and comedian Rob Deering.

The audience are cheering and Janice Forsyth is taking selfies from the stage - the Culture Studio is live from the 主播大秀's Potterrow venue at the Edinburgh Festivals.

There's music from the cast of play-meets-gig Janis Joplin: Full Tilt, and director Cora Bissett tells Janice how the show came about.

David Leddy is one of Scotland's most innovative theatre-makers. He talks about his play Horizontal Collaboration - performed by four new actors each day, none of whom see the script until they step onto the stage.

Camilla Cleese is an American stand-up comedian bringing her show to Edinburgh for the first time. She's got some rather auspicious comedy footsteps to follow, as her father is none other than John Cleese. Janice finds out how she's coping with the pressure.

The Dloko High School Choir are from a township on the outskirts of the South African city of Durban. In order to come to Scotland, money had to be raised simply to buy these 30 teenagers shoes. They sing live on stage.

Dennis Kelly is known for writing TV series Utopia and Pulling; he also co-wrote Matilda the Musical with Tim Minchin. His play Our Teacher is a Troll is on at the Fringe.

Plus live music from comedian Rob Deering, and rising star of folk Luke Jackson, and there's readings from Kate Fox, Matt Harvey and Julie Mullen, poets in residence at one of the festival's busiest venues.
