In an Interview with the Radio Times, Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry has said she does not want to live beyond 90 and would like her children to be able to "give me a pill" if she became a burden to her family. The cookery writer turned TV star, 79, said she had no wish to live as long as her mother, who died aged 105, saying very old age had no appeal "if you haven't got your marbles". Berry added: "I certainly don't want to be a burden, although under British law you can do nothing about it."

TOPIC 2: SKIN CANCER
Skin cancer cases in Scotland have increased two-and-a-half fold over the last 30 years but survival rates have also soared, according to researchers from Glasgow. Researchers from the Alan Lyell Centre for Dermatology in Glasgow found a significant rise in cases since 1990. But they also noted that 85% per cent of men and 90% of women now survive for at least five years after diagnosis.
