Both sides had wins in the opening weekend, with Dan Biggar kicking 17 points in the Ospreys' 44-13 victory over Treviso. However Edinburgh opened their campaign with a single point victory against the odds away to Munster.

The capital side had only won once on Irish soil in 23 visits, but Jack Cuthbert's try and nine points from the boot of late call-up Tom Heathcote secured the 13-14 win for Alan Solomon's side.
