The biggest dementia conference to be held in Scotland (which will be attended by 800 professionals, people with dementia and carers) is currently being hosted in Glasgow. The focus of the conference will be dignity and the four day event is exploring how recognising the human rights of people with dementia, their carers, partners and families is key to ensuring dignity and respect, as well as overcoming stigma.
