Another chance to hear a celebration of the art, music and culture of Berlin, originally broadcast in November 2014 to mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Another chance to hear a programme first broadcast in November to mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Janice Forsyth presents a special programme celebrating the art, music and culture of Berlin including brothers Christopher and Marc Bauder, who conceived Lichtgrenze, the light border, comprising 8000 white balloon lights following the route of the Berlin Wall; artist Katie Paterson, who lived in Berlin; Eduard Meyer, who was the studio engineer when David Bowie recorded Heroes and Low at Hansa studios, and music tour guide Thilo Schmeid; Turner prize nominee Phil Collins talks about his experience of Berlin art, journalist Paul Scraton talks about his walking tours around Berlin, and movie critics Hannah McGill and Pasquale Iannone talk about the influence of German film. And it's Vinyl Verdict day, when we ask you listeners to choose between two records for Janice to put the needle on at the end of the show. Today's choices are Style Council's Walls Come Tumbling Down, and Labi Siffre's Something Inside so Strong.
