Rev. Nigel Kirkpatrick and Rev. Nigel McCroskery

Church of Ireland clergymen, the Rev. Nigel Kirkpatrick and the Rev. Andrew McCroskery, donned motorcycle helmets and dog collars for an epic ride to every cathedral in Ireland to raise awareness and funds for the work of the United Society.

Rev Nigel explained why the two rectors felt inspired to organise this : 鈥淚n this 300th anniversary year of the United Society, we felt that riding motorbikes across the country, visiting every cathedral would be a way to highlight crucial projects in Swaziland (one of the poorest countries in the world and draw attention to ancient ecclesiastical places in Ireland.鈥

Gloria Hunniford

Broadcaster Gloria Hunniford lost her only daughter, television presenter Caron Keating, to breast cancer. How did this affect Gloria鈥檚 faith 鈥 and how did she come to terms with such a tragedy?聽 Gloria is determined to help other fight cancer and in Caron鈥檚 memory set up .

Pastor Tim Shiels

Tim Shiels is a former drug addict.聽He is originally from Derry but was 鈥榓sked鈥 to leave. Tim admits he was in a very 鈥榙ark place鈥.聽But Tim has now turned his life around 鈥 and amazingly is now a Pastor in Omagh Community Church, County Tyrone.

Locations

All hymns were filmed at St Michael鈥檚, Lissan, and the choirs that partook came from churches within the Lissan area.

Performances from and Voices of Ireland were filmed聽at 鈥撀燼n enchanting country house at the heart of a 267 acre demesne nestling in a prime location in the valley of the Lissan Water. The estate lies just 1.5 miles north of Cookstown at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains in County Tyrone.
