Documentary following a group of students at the Hair Academy. Three months into the course and things start to get serious for the students, while friendships also form.
It's Halloween and the Crow Road salon take on Gt Western Road salon in a fancy dress spooky face-off! Three months in and it gets serious now for our students. Student Angel struggles with a haircut and friendships among the students are formed. Any hints of romance?
Mobile phones and social media problems crop up in the salons and Ayr boss Riccardo reads the riot act. Brand new student Callan from the Ayr salon goes back to his old school to help out backstage at the Kyle Academy fashion show. Angel moonlights with her local Alloa dance troupe and she's rehearsing for their Christmas show. She then has the challenge of not only performing but styling the dancers' hair on the big day of the show at Alloa Town Hall.
Students Syd and Binky are picked to help out backstage at the glitzy Scottish Style Awards at Glasgow Kelvingrove Art Galleries, but will Binky get to meet her pop idol Noel Gallagher?
