Torcuil Lamont examines what it is to be a Gael in the 21st century, in his own inimitable style. In the first episode, Torcuil looks at language.

Star of D脿 l脿 san D脿mhair, Torcuil Lamont is back with his very own series. Join him as he takes us on a voyage over six comedy episodes examining what it is to be a Gael in the 21st Century. He looks at the crucial areas of Gaelic culture: language, food, music, drink, weather, and clothing and give us his inimitable opinion on how to be the perfect Gael.

Each week Torcuil interviews an expert in the chosen field, be it Boyd Robertson on language or Angus MacPhail of Skipinnish on ceilidhs, as well as meeting a few comedy characters along the way.

There's a professor of whisky, a chef with a very modern twist on Gaelic/Scots fusion cooking, an award-winning Mod singer and a German student who wants to learn the langauge. Come on Torcuil's journey as he explores what it is to be Gaelic, with vox pops and celebrities, and we guarantee some laughs and a few songs chucked in too!

In the first episode, Torcuil takes a look at language and asks Boyd Robertson the tricky question: who speaks the best Gaelic?
