Jak's Turnip Pearls


1 large swede peeled

25gr butter

25gr light brown muscavado sugar

25ml whisky

. Cut swede into 4 put in a pan of cold water & cook until nearly cooked but not quite

2. Drain water and allow to cool slightly then using a melon baller shape turnip in to spheres

3. When ready to serve warm butter, sugar & whisky in a shallow pan

4. Caramelise the turnip pearls until golden聽
