Nordic crime writer Jorn Lier Horst talks to Janice about his latest novel in the Inspector Wisting series. His Scottish translator Anne Bruce also talks about bringing Norwegian novels to the UK.
Singer/Songwriter Andy Burrows talks about his new double 'A' single. And writer Simon Garfield talks about the remarkable real life wartime love story he uncovered in his new book My Dear Bessie.
We go behind the scenes of the Lyceum in Edinburgh's production of Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Janice hears about the influence of walking, reading and writing from Dee Heddon from Glasgow University, who is involved in the ongoing art project - The Walking Library. And there's live music in the studio from Edinburgh based band King Eider who make a very welcome return to the Culture Studio.
