Scotland has recently found itself embroiled in public protest against town planning and redevelopment. Town planning discontent has been voiced in Edinburgh with the plans to convert the Old Royal High School into a hotel, Glasgow has seen vocal campaigning against the plans to demolish the Royal Concert Hall steps on Buchanan Street and petitioning to halt the construction plans of Marischal Square in Aberdeen seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
