For the first time ever, 主播大秀 Asian Network and 主播大秀 1Xtra broadcast together LIVE as Yasser and DJ Target go back-to-back in the mix.

For the first time ever, 主播大秀 Asian Network and 主播大秀 1Xtra broadcast together LIVE as Yasser and DJ Target go "back-to-back" in the mix.

Yasser and DJ Target have been like brothers from another mother since they met in the 主播大秀 tent at Glastonbury last year. Since then, every Friday night, the boys have shared their love of exciting new beats, and emerging artists. Both representing 主播大秀 Introducing for their respective networks, they're both awesome DJs, and on a Friday night they actually broadcast from studios right next door to each other.

Every week, DJ Target welcomes a top international DJ talent into his studio and they go "back-to-back" in the mix - each taking it in turns to pick the next tune - and crucially, they have to be able to mix that tune in with the tune that went before! And every week, Yasser goes into a 20 minute mix himself and occasionally welcomes in guest DJs to mix live for us.

One Friday night a few months ago, a seed was planted and an idea was born... Yasser could jump studios, and join DJ Target for a live 30 minute back-to-back mix, broadcast live on 主播大秀 1Xtra and 主播大秀 Asian Network. From 9:10pm to 9:50pm, we will "simulcast" with 1Xtra as Yasser hangs out in Target's studio, mixing, chatting and bringing the hype to Friday night.
