This week Business Scotland goes to the races. Scotland has five race courses and throughout 2015 more than a hundred race meetings are scheduled across the flat and jump. The most recent economic impact study carried out for Scottish Racing - which does marketing and promotion for the courses - estimated the total direct and indirect spending by racegoers was worth some 拢67.5m, while the total impact was valued at over 拢260m.
