Edi Stark sits in

Edi Stark sits in for Janice Forsyth and talks to Anne Fine, author of Mrs Doubtfire and Goggle-Eyes. Plus live music from Ali Affleck and the Copper Cats and Bella and the Bear.

Former children's laureate and multiple award-winning author of Madame Doubtfire, Goggle-eyes and many more much-loved children's books, Anne Fine is our Wednesday Profile guest

ANT-MAN is released in studios on Friday. Sammy Sheldon Differ was the costume designer of the film and she talks to us about creating the superhero on film, and also about her experience of working on Gladiator and, more recently, The Imitation Game, for which she gained her third BAFTA nomination.

The Lost Glasgow Facebook site, dedicated to sharing and discussion of images of Glasgow in the last 100 years or so, has notched up 62,000 likes in the last year, proving once again our fascination with seeing familiar places as they used to be. More than a place to reminisce, the site and its sisters (dedicated to Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen) are now also used in care homes and dementia wards to prompt conversations and the accessing of memories in the residents. Norrie Wilson of Lost Glasgow will join Edi to talk about all this and also tell the story of forgotten amateur photographer Hugh Jamieson, whose beautiful work was retrieved from a skip after his death.

International bestselling author Lisa Ballantyne talks about her long-awaited second novel Redemption Road.

Today's live sessions: vintage jazz from award winning Ali Affleck and the Copper Cats, ahead of their Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival gig next week, and acoustic traditional duo Bella and the Bear, playing for us before they head off to the Hebridean Celtic Festival, which starts today in the Outer Hebrides.
