One resident finds themselves being accused of the unthinkable. Paul reaches breaking point when Claudette arrives at Pam and Les's centenary party.

An upbeat Pam proudly looks on at the centenary sign outside Coker and Sons. Paul takes Les outside and firmly questions whether Claudette is joining the centenary party that evening. Paul tells Les he has to make a choice about who he wants in his life; him or Claudette. Paul overhears Les phoning Claudette, telling her not to come that evening; he has to put his family first. Pam appears ready for the party looking beautiful – Les gushes over her. Les and Pam arrive at the Vic in high spirits. Paul tells Les that he just wants to make him proud, there’s a warm moment between the pair. Claudette arrives, much to Les and Paul’s discomfort.

Paul calls Claudette a heartless cow – Claudette suggests that she cares more about Pam’s feelings than his, and that Pam would have been hurt if she hadn’t turned up. Claudette fills Les in - Paul told Vincent that she and Les are having an affair. As this news sinks in, Fatboy calls for Pam and Les to do a speech. Les takes to the microphone and sincerely and emotionally thanks Pam for making his life worth living. Paul begrudgingly watches on as Claudette, Les and Pam all dance together – Pam clocks Paul’s sour mood. When Pam asks Paul to promise that he’s staying for good, it’s too much for him and he leaves. Pam finds a crying Paul back at the flat and begs him to tell her what’s wrong. Paul comes clean – Les has been having an affair with Claudette...

Stacey visits Max in prison and is shocked when Max states that it was Abi who killed Lucy. Max admits to Stacey that he and Abi were covering for each other – before explaining that Abi beat Lucy up on the night she died. Max asks Stacey to talk to Abi and to persuade her to confess. In the Square Gardens, Stacey tells Abi to come clean to save her dad – Abi’s taken aback by Stacey’s accusation. When Abi states that Stacey is the reason that Bradley died, Stacey slaps Abi hard. Abi retaliates by shoving Stacey to the ground. Martin and Tina spot the fight and pull Abi off of Stacey. Martin shouts that Stacey is pregnant. Tina brings an uptight Abi into the café, where Carol tends to her. Carol questions Abi over what the fight was about. Abi explains that Max told Stacey to convince Abi to confess; Carol is disgusted. Later, Max is surprised to see Carol in the prison visiting room and is taken aback when she calls him a bastard.

Pam asks Les how Billy has been coping at work – Les admits that he’s hardly said a word all day. Ritchie calls Phil and informs him that Jay went up in front of the Magistrates that afternoon – he got a three month suspended sentence, along with a curfew for theft by handling, but kept quiet about Ben’s involvement. Sharon tries to reassure Phil that he can put things right with Ben, but Phil struggles to forgive himself. Jay arrives home and demands that Phil come nowhere near him. In the Mitchells, a morose Jay is tagged. At the War Memorial, a downbeat Jay calls Lola and fills her in on his three month curfew, before telling her he loves her. At the centenary, when Sonia questions Lola’s whereabouts, Billy continues to spin the line that she’s left for Newcastle due to a great job offer. In the Vic, Phil attempts to thaw things with Billy and suggests that the family is falling apart without him. Ben finds Jay in the Arches attempting to cut off his tag and stops him. Ben consoles a sobbing Jay, assuring him that even if he feels like he’s alone, he’s there for him.

As Bex writes out Martin’s birthday card, she admits to Sonia that she didn’t expect Martin and Stacey to be having a baby so soon. Sonia reminds Bex that although she and Martin now have separate lives, Bex still can rely on them both. It’s awkward when Stacey doesn’t clock that it’s Martin’s birthday until she arrives back to the flat to find cards up. Stacey berates Martin for letting her pregnancy slip when Abi was attacking her. Stacey fills Martin in – she visited Max in prison and he told her that Abi killed Lucy. Martin’s unimpressed and suggests that she should be thinking about their baby. Stacey apologises and assures Martin that she won’t
