Author Bill Bryson discusses the film adaptation of his book, A Walk in the Woods

Author Bill Bryson discusses the film adaptation of his best-selling travel memoir, A Walk in the Wood.

It's film review day here on The Janice Forsyth Show and Janice will be hearing from Author Bill Bryson who will be discussing the film adaptation of his best-selling travel memoir, A Walk in the Woods.

Regular Critics, Graeme Virtue and Alistair Harkness will share their thoughts on the film and on this week's other big cinema releases: including, The Messenger, a British supernatural mystery horror film directed by David Blair, starring Robert Sheehan and Lily Cole and Everest - Baltasar Kormakur's gruelling, strikingly unsentimental chronicle of the doomed 1996 expedition to the peak of Mount Everest.

Later in the show Dave Wakeling Frontman of The English Beat tells us about his upcoming tour, Ross King discusses his new novel Breaking Hollywood' and we'll hear all about Take One Action! The film festival which celebrates the people and movies that are changing the world, from Argyll to Zimbabwe; they believe 'small actions lead to big ones, and that we all make a difference.'
