Film Review Day featuring a review of Sunset Song, plus hear from British director Terence Davies

Director Terence Davies discusses Sunset Song, plus critics Eddie Harrison and Alison Rowat review the film along with Victor Frankenstein and Christmas with the Coopers.

It's movie review day on The Janice Forsyth Show - legendary British Director, Terence Davies will be on hand to discuss his new film, the hotly anticipated Sunset Song - his new adaptation of the classic Lewis Grassic Gibbon novel, about the daughter of a Scottish farmer who comes of age in the early 1900's.

Regular Critics, Eddie Harrison & Alison Rowat will share their thoughts on it and on this week's other big cinema releases: including new horror, Victor Frankenstein: Scottish filmmaker Paul McGuigan's contemporary re-imagining of Mary Shelley's legendary tale, which stars both James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe! They will also discuss 'Christmas With The Coopers' - a heartwarming ensemble comedy with an all-star cast.

Later in the show, the highly respected music writer Harvey Kubernik discusses his new book, 'Neil Young: Heart of Gold,' which charts every aspect of the great singer's extraordinary career with the aid of exclusive interviews conducted with fellow musicians, record producers, music journalists, film directors and loyal fans.

All that and multi-award-winning singer Camille O'Sullivan, whose wonderful voice and passionate performances of work from the likes of Nick Cave, David Bowie and Jacques Brel has as stunned audiences around the world, previews her upcoming concerts in Edinburgh with a live session!
