Join Robbie Shepherd for a programme packed with the very best of traditional music and song. Take The Floor are delighted to welcome back Jack Delaney and His Scottish Dance Band in session. We pay tribute to fiddler John Ellis and share an interview Robbie did with him, looking back at his life of music. Robbie also shares with you the latest sounds from CD and some of your requested music tracks.

Join Robbie for Our Christmas Show Recording
Take The Floor is recording a special festive edition of the programme and you have the chance to come along.
We will be recording at Kinlochard hall on the picturesque shores of Loch Ard near Aberfoyle on Thursday 10th December with Stuart Cameron and his band along with some special guests.
The programme will be broadcast on Saturday 26th December, Boxing Day and again on Sunday 27th December.
