UK families explore the possibility of moving to Australia or New Zealand. Paul hopes a week in Perth will convince his wife that the family's future lies in Australia.
Despite never having visited Australia, Paul is convinced that his family could have a brighter future there. For nine years, he has been trying to persuade wife Clair to buy into his dream of a new life on the other side of the world. However, Clair is more than happy with their life in Scotland and cannot bear the thought of moving so far away from her mum who currently lives just a few doors away.

Smith family update
The family got their Australian Visa granted in July 2015 and are planning a holiday to Brisbane in February 2016 to activate it.聽 They hope to make the move permanently within the next couple of years 鈥� and Clair鈥檚 keeping fingers crossed, her mum will be persuaded to join them!
