Series following the work of probate researchers. One case features a family of glove makers from Yeovil while another arises from the discovery of a war grave in a Thai cemetery.

The heir hunters struggle to pin down the tricky case of a large family of glove makers, who plied their trade in the prominent Yeovil glove-making industry. With censuses providing vital clues as to who the family was, travelling researchers have a busy few days tracking down numerous heirs in Devon.

In another case, the chance discovery of a war grave in a Thai cemetery leads heir hunters to two family members who both fought in artillery regiments in Burma in World War II. When an heir and son of one of the soldiers is shown war records of the two men, it leads to an emotional realisation.
