Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of American singer and songwriter Debbie Harry - of solo career and Blondie fame, and associated with the likes of Wind in the Willows, Iggy Popp, Jazz Passengers, Andy Summers, Luscious Jackson and Thompson Twins. The Great Collaborations track features Jimmy Johnstone and Simple Minds and in The Real Thing it's 'Peggy Sue' by Buddy Holly & The Crickets (the song was originally called 'Cindy Lou' and was named after Buddy's niece, but was later changed to Peggy Sue in reference to The Crickets drummer Jerry Allison's girlfriend and future wife Peggy Sue Gerron, with whom he had recently had a temporary break up).
