Former Channel 4 News Economics Editor Paul Mason explores the great social upheavals of the 18th and 19th centuries as reflected in the music of the time. As a journalist Paul has covered the Arab Spring, the Occupy movement in America, student riots in Britain, and the rise of the anti-capitalist left in Greece and Spain. But only the Egyptian revolution of February 2011 comes close to the events he relives today. Total overthrows of the established order.
