UK goverment wants more time to consider EDF nuclear deal

The French energy company EDF has given the green light to a controversial project to build Britain's first nuclear power plant in a generation.

The French energy giant, EDF, says it is ready to build a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset. But has the UK government got cold feet? Russia says unarmed rebels and civilians will be allowed to leave besieged areas of the Syrian city of Aleppo. We hear from the UN humanitarian chief and the US State department.
