Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul plus Part 2 of Billy's interview with Dexys frontman Kevin Rowland. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Todd Rundgren - solo career and member of the band Utopia and worked with numerous artists including New York Dolls, Robert Palmer, The Tubes, Patti Smith, Bette Midler, Cheap Trick, Badfinger, Sparks, Groove Armada, Ian Hunter, Meatloaf and XTC. The Great Collaborations track features Larry Adler & Lisa Stansfield and in The Real Thing it's 'Sean Penn Blues' by Lloyd Cole & The Commotions - track inspired by a story Cole read about the actor Sean Penn being invited to a poetry reading which turned out to be set up purely to mock him!
