Devendra's latest album 'Ape in Pink Marble' is due to be released on September 23. He wrote, produced, arranged and recorded it with his longtime collaborators Noah Georgeson and Josiah Steinbrick, who also worked on his previous album 'Mala'.

'Ape in Pink Marble' is Banhart's ninth release, and comes fourteen years after he broke onto the scene with his 2002 debut album 'Oh Me Oh My...'.
