With Crucial Vinyl from Blur

The Don blends new music with classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica, Africa and beyond, plus the week's Crucial Vinyl is Parklife, released by Blur in 1994.

The Don's selections cross time, space and genre and include Crucial Vinyl from Blur.

Each week, as well as blending his favourite new music with classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica, Africa and beyond, Don highlights a piece of Crucial Vinyl â€" a cherished album from his own collection. He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week it's Blur's Parklife, released in 1994.

Don says, "It must have been great to have been a teenager in the UK when this came out. I would have been 38 back then, and it still struck a chord. One of the two daddies of the so-called 'cool Britannia' scene, it's a brilliant pop record that is, without doubt, quintessentially British. It spawned a string of hit singles that still sound fresh today.".
