Katie Puckrik sits in for Mary Anne Hobbs and celebrates the work of French musician and composer Yann Tiersen on the fifteenth anniversary of the release of Amelie.

Katie Puckrik celebrates the work of French musician and composer Yann Tiersen, on the 15th anniversary of Amelie's release.

Yann Tiersen provided the soundtrack to the popular motion picture in 2001. In the following years, it went on to win awards for 'World Soundtrack Award for Best Original Score of the Year' and the 'C茅sar Award for Best Music Written for a Film'.

This morning, Katie speaks to Yann about the legacy of Amelie, and the inspiration behind his brand new solo piano album, 'EUSA'.
