Henry Padovani of The Police, Mamma Mia and the Scottish music festival scene

Henry Padovani, founder member of The Police, talks about the break-up of the band and his solo career, plus Muriel Gray and David Forsyth discuss the National Museum of Scotland.

Henry Padovani, founder member of The Police, talks about Sting breaking the news that he was out of the band, his solo work including his new album, and about the experience of playing the newly-reopened Bataclan theatre in Paris earlier this month, alongside Sting, in the first concert there since Islamic militants killed 90 people in 2015.

Scotland's Treasures is a film showing on 主播大秀 Two tonight, celebrating the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh in its 150th year. It's the most visited museum in the UK outside London and Janice is joined by tow guests who love the museum and who appear in the film - writer and broadcaster Muriel Gray and David Forsyth, Principal Curator, Scottish Medieval and Early Modern Collections at the Museum.

After the Storm is an exhibition of furniture making use of the wood from trees that were blown down in Edinburgh's Botanic Garden during Cyclone Andrea in 2012. The theme for the furniture-makers was regeneration and resilience. Ian Edwards, Head of Exhibitions and Events at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, tells us more.

The musical Mamma Mia will be thrilling crowds in Edinburgh's Playhouse over the festive season. Janice meets the cast.

A brand new four-night light and art spectacular opens today at Irvine's harbourside. Launched by the Scottish Maritime Museum, Illumination will include an arial light show, fireworks displays and a lantern parade. At the heart of the festival will be a free light trail consisting of three beautiful, sculpted light installations by Gloria Runchi and Claudio Benghi and they'll be in studio to explain how they create their magic.

And we take the temperature of the Scottish music festival scene following the news that T in the Park won't run in 2017.
