When king penguins are too cold they huddle together, but when they're too warm they cool down with a mud bath. The young penguin dives face down into a muddy pool in one of its first attempts to learn this skill.

The Japanese macaque uses the hot springs to stay warm in the snowy winter. The young monkeys learn the value of these hot tubs of the animal world.

And in the baking heat of the summer, the best place for an elephant to cool down is in the water. For the young elephants this learning is like playtime.
