Big moves! Is the new year the time to leave your job and maybe your relationship or should you try to make both work?

Vinny knows what we're thinking as we trudge back to work after the holidays. New jobs, new relationships? All that and much more with music from The Jacksons.

Vinny knows what we're thinking as we trudge back to work after the holidays. He knows the first thing we all do is to check how long we have to wait to get another holiday. That done, we then take a sneaky look at the recruitment websites. How difficult is it to start a new career, and is it sometimes wiser to stay put? Recruitment boss Tina McKenzie is in the studio. As is Patricia MacBride whose working life began as a journalist, turned to PR and then public service and has since turned again with her role as a resident magistrate.

Changing your job is one thing but what about changing your relationship? You know how it goes, rows over the holidays, disappointments about gifts, perhaps too much alcohol and of course, the depressing reality that the sparkle of Christmas can be quickly replaced with the gloom of debt.
So, how does anyone know when to make yet one more big effort at saving a relationship or indeed when to make that permanent split? This is, as you can guess, is Mabel Doole's busy period. She's a relationship expert who's taken a little time out to talk to us tonight.

Vinny's toughest interview yet in the What I Wish I'd Known When I Was 25 slot. The guest ain't heavy, it's his father.

Music is from The Jacksons.
