Harriet Harman, Former Labour Minister

Sarah Montague speaks to former Labour minister, Harriet Harman. She's the only woman who has come near to leading the party. But even she ruled it out. Why?

Sarah Montague speaks to former Labour minister, Harriet Harman. For much of her political life she has been accused of being a 'humourless feminist' but she has been effective, she is the politician behind the equality act, the minimum wage, the guarantee of a minimum income for pensioners, longer maternity leave, and laws on domestic violence. In the House of Commons almost half of labour seats are filled with women thanks to her changes. She's the only woman who has come near to leading the party. But even she ruled it out. Why? Was it the party's fault? Or hers?
