Mika celebrates the iconic singer-songwriter Carole King and performs a cover of one of her iconic tracks - 'You've Got A Friend' live on the Elton John piano. He plays songs from across her career; including those she wrote with Gerry Goffin for other artists including Aretha Franklin and songs she kept for herself, such as the iconic 'Tapestry' album. Carole King's career is so varied that today she has her own musical telling the stories of her early life and career. Mika explores the stories behind some of Carole's most famous tracks, looking at where and when they were written, how they were created and what makes them timeless. Mika is a Brit Award-winning and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who's sold millions of records around the world and he shares his own experiences of making music to reveal more about the writing process.
