Euan McIlwraith meets Luise Janniche, who works pointer dogs on grouse moors, and organic farmer Sassha Grierson, plus Mark Stepehn hears about new funding for Trees for Life.

Euan meets Luise Janniche who works her pointer dogs on grouse moors to count the birds during the off season. They're joined by shoot manager William Souter on a glorious day high on the hills of northern Aberdeenshire.

A recent pilot project looked at getting Scottish organic chicken into school meals to prevent it being imported as much of it is at the moment. Euan meets Sassha Grierson who runs an organic farm in Perthshire and was involved in the pilot.

Mark visits Trees for Life at their Dundreggan Estate and finds out about new funding they have received which will allow them to provide training for 15 people. He also hears about their Bring Back the Beaver appeal and their exciting developments to boost the rare Aspen tree population in Scotland.

The Scottish Seabird Centre has just announced plans to create a National Marine Centre for Scotland at their base in North Berwick. Mark finds out more from chief executive, Tom Brock.

Near Portsoy on the Moray Firth lie a number of boats that at the moment belong to Portsoy community enterprise. But they're going to be up for grabs to those who can put in the hard work to restore them. Never one to miss out on a boating opportunity, Euan went to find out why.

The Slow Marathon is now an annual event run by Deveron Projects and is walk of marathon distance exploring the Aberdeenshire countryside This year's Slow Marathon is part of artist Andrea Geile's project Energised Landscape. Mark went for a walk along part of the route and chatted to Andrea about the project.

Iona Connagher swears she has seen the Loch Ness Monster. Back in the 1930s the retired GP is convinced of what she saw. Mark meets her at her Edinburgh home to hear the tale.
