Three of the big six banks have said they won't lend money for new homes with onerous ground rents. If the mortgage providers prove unwilling to lend on more of these types of properties, could it wipe thousands of pounds from their value?

And why more than 41,000 UK drivers have signed up to a group legal action for compensation from Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda.
