Colum Arbuckle guests are Beverly Bryans and Karen Shaw. Beverly left a career in the NHS to answer a calling that has led her to care for children at a clinic in Peru. Karen is happily married to her first love but, between meeting him, losing him and eventually reuniting with him, she has had a lifetime of experiences to share. A Belfast Beaver Colony has won award for its work with dementia patients and a U3A writers group is hard at work composing a radio drama. Plus we travel back to the beginnings of children's television, in June 1946.
