Mallorca Street Angels - Part One

This week Connie is in Magaluf, a popular holiday resort on the Spanish Island of Mallorca. Famed for its sun-soaked beaches and notorious nightlife, the resort attracts thousands of Brits every summer to the neon strip. Connie teams up with a Christian group called 'Street Angels' which patrols the area at night, helping vulnerable tourists when the partying stops being fun. She meets with two volunteers, Jason Taylor and Steffi Scherer, who explain what they do, and how their faith drives them to help holidaymakers at night.

Mallorca Sanctuary

Connie explores the ancient pilgrimage site, Lluc Sanctuary, located in northwest Mallorca. Here she meets Richard Janer Bonafe, Prior of Lluc Sanctuary. Together they visit the chapel, where Connie hears the legend of the Black Madonna statue, and gets to see the Virgin Mary herself.

Oldest Wedding

Pam Rhodes heads to St. Mary's Church, Gosforth in Cumbria to attend a very special celebration of the marriage of Margaret Husband and Bernard Brice, who are both in their 90s. The couple met in their teens, and after being reunited they decided to tie the knot. Pam hears their love story, how they met, and how God has played a part in both of their lives.

Mallorca Street Angels - Part Two

Connie continues her journey with the Mallorca Street Angels, as she ventures onto the strip with one of the head Street Angels, Gary Napier. Connie sees how the Angels provide first aid, and support for vulnerable tourists on the strip. Connie meets with some of Magaluf's holidaymakers, and hears what they think of the Street Angels.
