On our North Coast 500 journey we visited Caithness, famous for its stone which has been used across the world. Mark was back up in the area recently and visited a quarry which has been re-opened by quarry man Michael Ronaldson.

Helen finds out more about the forestry industry in Scotland and alternative non chemical methods being investigated to control pine weevils.

We've all seen images of whales and dolphins stranded on a beach. Getting the mammals back into the water is a major operation and often requires the assistance of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue. Mark meets some members in Fife and finds out more about what they do.

Helen visits Lindores Abbey which was founded in 1191 by David Earl of Huntingdon. It is the site where the first recorded drop of whisky was made in 1494 and it has been restored to its former glory with a new distillery and visitor centre.

We've covered most aspects of cycling over the years but one form of bike that has eluded us so far is the tandem. Partners Colin Calder and Diane Lockhart are big fans and Mark met up with them and Matilda, their tandem, to find out what it is about riding a tandem that they enjoy so much.
