Comedian Joseph Morpurgo joins Shaun

Shaun is after your Earworms before 8.00am and welcomes comedian Joseph Morpurgo to chat about his upcoming Edinburgh show. Plus, The War on Drugs chat during the Music News.

Shaun chats with comedian Joseph Morpurgo ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe run of his show - Hammerhead. The show promises to be another outlandishly funny, high-concept hour - featuring surreal set-pieces, vivid comic writing, subliminal pulse signals - and monsters from the 2015 Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee.
Joseph is a three-time Chortle Award winner and has a reputation for creating masterful pieces of multimedia work, often based around found material and making use of film, music and collage. Morpurgo's previous shows are Time Out's Number 1 show of 2015, Soothing Sounds For Baby (2015), in which he inserted himself into an episode of Desert Island Discs; Odessa (2014), in which a found VHS is used as the jump-off for a comic murder mystery; and Truthmouth (2013) - a one-man sketch show based around plundered stock images.
