Jac and Fran get the shock of their lives when someone from their past turns up at the hospital. Raf realises that he likes Essie a bit more than he thought.
Jac and Fran work together on a highly sensitive, complex case with a patient that they knew from childhood. Fran finds it especially hard to cope under the strain, and the cracks start to appear.
Raf is ribbed by Fletch, who spots that he likes Essie a bit more than he is letting on and encourages him to give things another go. But will Essie feel the same way?
When Donna's old school mate is admitted, she soon realises how her life has been completely turned upside down, and she has to face her fears - to sort out her marriage once and for all.
