The Big Sick, 47 Metres Down and Howards End

Zoe Kazan discusses her role in The Big Sick - a warm, funny and risk-taking love-story.

It's film review day here on The Janice Forsyth Show - Zoe Kazan will be discussing her role in The Big Sick - a warm, funny and risk-taking love-story that looks set to give the ailing Rom Com genre a topical shot in the arm.

Regular Critics, SIOBHAN SYNNOT & IAN HOEY will share their thoughts on it and on this week's big cinema releases including: 47 Metres Down - a summer shark attack thriller(!!) starring Mathew Modine, and a dazzling new theatrical re-release of a Merchant Ivory masterpiece: Howards End.

Later in the show, Hollywood screenwriter (Tron) and Sherlock Holmes-expert Bonnie MacBird discusses her second Sherlock Holmes novel, Unquiet Spirits - much of which is set in Scotland! and Mental health activist and writer, DONNA FRANCESCHILD and RIVER CITY and RAB C NESBITT star IAIN ROBERTSON will discuss their short film BRIDGE.

All that and ahead of his appearance at the Mugstock festival, singer songwriter Angus Munro is live in session!

Don't Miss it!
